Image as Communication

My goal with this film is to express the need for history to be revisited especially that of Blacks. This expression would all be communicated through the images and the performances conveyed therein. Making sure that all the metaphoric imagery and the performances that coincided with them created a clear message was quite a daunting task. Often I felt that I may not be able to fully communicate with my audience so that the “get it.” In the end, I relied on my intuition, all that seemed to be clear in my own mind when executing this film.
